Posted in politics on November 5th, 2008 by jaredOkay, I’ve calmed down. My anger and fear are subsiding and I’ve come to a realization. I don’t want to be one of those guys that just bitches and moans for four years. I’m not going to disagree with everything President-Elect Obama does, just because we don’t share the same views.
I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt. I will support him when I think he’s right. I will challenge him when I think he’s wrong. I’ve been doing that for 8 years now. I’m not going to let myself be miserable for the next four. We live in the greatest country in the world. Let’s not allow it to fail. As the greatest president we’ve ever had once said: “A house divided against itself, cannot stand.”
Let’s all hold it up.
